Product Description
Delver is a search engine and serendipity tool that allows you to find content, media and people within your network. An increasing amount of information is created online by your network and Delver is the first service to expose all that data via a simple search interface. Delver indexes the social web (social networks, blogs and social applications such as Flickr and YouTube), cross-connects the data with your social graph, and delivers search results that are relevant to you.
Market Opportunity
According to an October 2007 Morgan Stanley report, the search market is still in its early stage (70% year-over-year Google Query growth), Social networks are booming and personalization and targeting continue to improve. By letting users search for information across multiple social platforms, Semingo believes it will highly benefit from targeted search-related advertisement.
DEMO Says
Personalized search is a white-hot market and one very much in need of clearly delineated sectors. One such sector that has gelled more than others is social search, which allows consumers to find answers from trusted friends. We’d like to submit Semingo as a strong contender in this space for many reasons. Great design, white-labeling offerings, the ability to import your social graph, very little effort needed on the user end - it all adds up to a sophisticated and extremely useful social search engine.
